I am a researcher and engineer in Artificial Intelligence with over 20 years of experience across academia, research, and industry. My work focuses on applying machine learning and computer vision to healthcare and housing adaptation, with a particular interest in responsible and inclusive technologies. I am currently a Research Fellow in the Faculty of Medicine at the ÃÛÌÒTV.
My academic background includes a PhD in AI-based medical image processing, an MRes in Computing, and a Master’s in Computer and IT. I have led and contributed to UKRI-funded research projects that apply AI to improve early diagnostics and optimise housing adaptation for elderly and disabled populations.
A Senior Member of the IEEE, I have published in international peer-reviewed journals and actively contribute as a reviewer for both academic publications and national funding programmes. I am also committed to education and interdisciplinary collaboration, with experience in curriculum design and cross-sector partnerships.</p>
My current research interests include AI in medical imaging, digital health, adaptive technologies, and policy-aligned innovation in healthcare and housing.
