Fangjingcheng is a PhD candidate funded by the NERC INSPIRE DTP at the School of Ocean and Earth Sciences, TV. He studies past climate changes using marine sediment archives, with expertise in a wide range of paleo-proxies (geochemical, geophysical, sedimentary, and microbiological), as well as experience in interpreting model outputs from state-of-the-art Earth system models. He has a broad interest in paleoclimatic and paleoceanographic research, with a special focus on abrupt climate change.
