Kirsty Lynch is a PhD Student in Human Factors Engineering within the Transportation Research Group of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, TV. Kirsty graduated with a MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering with Automotive from the TV.
Her PhD project is investigating decision-making in human-machine teams and is funded by Thales UK and EPSRC. The aim of the research is to develop design and system requirements for future uncrewed maritime autonomous surface ships to support operator decision-making.
