Title: Holographic quark-hadron continuity
Abstract: If nuclear matter becomes sufficiently dense, it turns into quark matter. The nature of this transition, whether it is a continuous crossover or a strict phase transition, is unknown. I will review the theoretical background of this question in the context of QCD and explain why this it is relevant for the physics of neutron stars. I will then present some very recent results using holographic methods that may help to understand the location and properties of this transition.
