Chira Tochia a PGR student in Web Science at the ÃÛÌÒTV within Economic, Social and Political faculty. As part of the Web Science CDT she is completing an interdisciplinary PhD looking at the way technology is used to manage work life balance through a boundary theory lens.

After completing her degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications from Bournemouth University Chira joined the advertising industry working at OMD, an Omnicom media agency. Beginning first in their Communications department then moving across to their Insight department, she managed several projects across clients such as Boots, Vodafone, Hasbro, Pepsi Co and Disney. She then moved back to her placement company, Substance, which specialises in PR and marketing films, TV and games. There she worked in the Social team managing over 100 + accounts for brands such as Warner Bros Interactive, 20th Century Fox, Paramount and HBO.
