The Digital Doctoral Festival ran in May 2020 to provide a small taster of the postponed Festival of Doctoral Research. Through social media, PGRs took part in miniature online challenges released up to three times a week. These included sharing (and guessing the location) of fieldwork photos, facts learned, books read and heart-warming moments of the day-to-day.
The Digital Doctoral Fest was a celebration of the diverse research of PGRs, and from the wonderful participation we were all exposed to insights from their inspiring and vibrant lives. We look forward to being able to run the full Festival of Doctoral Research in the future.
