With a 25% increase of activities going on during the three week period, this festival was the largest ever with nearly 40 events, including old favourites such as the Three Minute Thesis competition and Bake your PhD, but also included sessions supporting PGRs in areas such as wellbeing with the Body-Mind Connection events, career workshops, as well as skills development through activities such as editing and producing a Journal in a Day.
As well as exciting and innovating activities from doctoral researchers through the Activities Fund awards, our four (Aneesha, Clarissa, Ellen, and Phuong) worked tirelessly to help support the Doctoral College team, the events and even held their own activities, from Relaxation Technique Workshops, a celebration party at The Orange Rooms, a panel session on the ups and downs of the PhD Journey, and curating a !
