Capital House
In May 2023, following a successful consultation with Winchester City Council, the University acquired Capital House in Winchester.
As part of our Strategic Estates Plan, the University is bringing forward a programme of investment across all of our campuses to create the optimum environment for students to be educated, world-class research to take place, and to enable collaboration and innovation with businesses and other stakeholders.
The renovation of Capital House will provide key state-of-the-art teaching spaces for existing Winchester School of Art (WSA) students and staff.
Concept Building Services Southern (Ltd) are the University's appointed contractors who will be working on behalf of the University to carry out the refurbishment works at the site.
All renovation activities will occur in accordance with the building regulations set forth by Winchester City Council and we will do all we can to minimise disruption to the surrounding area.
The works will include full internal refurbishment of the building, and external changes to the facade and roof.Ìý
In order to reduce the impact on residents Concept will endeavour to keep noise levels as low as possible.Ìý
